Who delivers the artwork?
Deliveries are sent to the address given on the purchase order.
Currently, delivery charges are only given for the following countries: Belgium, France, Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the Netherlands.
For other countries: please contact us via firstname.lastname@example.org
We will contact you within 48 hours (working days) of registration of your order in order to make the delivery arrangements.
The name of the transport company, the parcel number and the delivery date will be sent to you.
Is the work insured during transport?
The work is insured during transport and so, there is no risk for you.
The works are transported at the seller's risk until delivered to the delivery address given by the purchaser. From that moment, the purchaser will assume the risks.
Absence on delivery:
If no-one is present at the delivery address between the agreed times, the work can be redelivered. The transport charges will once again be charged to the purchaser. In Belgium, a flat-rate of €80.00 will be demanded in compensation.
The delivery location must be accessible! Large formats cannot be carried in a lift or staircase; other arrangements must therefore be made...; the purchaser is responsible for these costs.
What are the delivery charges?
The purchaser is responsible for the delivery charges, taxes and any customs duties.
The charges are calculated depending on the artwork's size and weight and the delivery country.
These delivery charges will be added to the price of the artwork before your order is confirmed.
For an estimate of your delivery charges, simply place the product(s) in your basket and indicate the country.
Am I protected in the event of a delivery-related problem?
In the event of damage during transport, the justified protest must be filed with the transport company within three days of delivery.
Any purchaser can notify BédéArt by sending a complaint about the works ordered by email to email@example.com within 3 days of receipt of any work, in accordance with the following criteria:
Non-compliant product: the product received does not match the product ordered.
Damaged product: the product received is damaged or broken.
Depending on the case, the dispute will result in the replacement of the work.
In the event that the work needs to be returned by the purchaser, the seller will instruct the purchaser on the procedure to be followed.
Can I obtain an invoice for my order?
For every order, an invoice is produced by BédéArt containing the price of the work ex. VAT and incl. VAT and is sent by email.
You are asked for all the invoicing details during the order process.
The seller reserves the right to change its prices at any time. The prices applicable to the order are those in force at the time this order is confirmed.
The prices appearing on the website are in euros and include VAT at 21%. The prices given do not include transport and delivery charges.
The price of an artwork is set by BédéArt using several criteria. Firstly, it depends on its manufacturing process (printing type and support, finish, etc.), then its size and the reputation and popularity of the artist when purchasing.
With regard to consumers, the seller guarantees the works it sells in accordance with the Law of 1 September 2004 on consumer protection for the sale of consumer goods (Articles 1649 bis to 1649 octies of the Civil Code).
In the event of the non-conformity of a sold product observed within 2 months of the delivery of the goods, the consumer must notify the seller as soon as possible by registered letter or email.
Defects or damage due to misuse, such as water damage, oxidation, a drop or impact, use of corrosive cleaners, negligence or wear and tear, are not covered by the warranty.
The invoice or delivery note acts as a guarantee and must be retained by the consumer and the original produced on request.
In the online sales process, the seller is only bound by an obligation of means; the seller's liability cannot be engaged for any damage resulting from the use of the internet such as data loss, intrusion, virus, service failure or other unintentional problems.
The data on the website is provided in good faith. Links to partner sites are given for information only. The seller cannot be held liable for information from these sites.
Any personal data needed to process an order is stored by the seller or its employees and may be sent to companies with which the seller - or its suppliers - work, when such communication is required to process the order.
The seller stores personal data to facilitate subsequent orders. The seller otherwise agrees not to disclose the information that it has to another company or business.
The data stored by the seller may be corrected by the purchaser at any time through their account.
The parties accept, in the context of their relationship, electronic evidence (for example, email, computer backups, etc.).
